Acid Test for Sugden

The Boxing Connected roadshow rolls back into Nottingham on Saturday 12th October 2019 with a ten bout fistic extravaganza planned for the Harvey Hadden Sports Village.
Topping the bill will be Newark Light Heavyweight sensation Chad “2 Slick” Sugden returning to the scene of his breakout victory in July against former Commonwealth Super Middleweight Champion Luke Blackledge. This time in front of him will be the Dutch via Uganda hard man Farouk Daku. Daku is a former African Boxing Union Champion and with 38 bouts on his ledger is vastly experienced and having travelled to Denmark, Germany, Poland, France, Croatia, Belgium, Kenya, Montenegro & Ukraine during his career it is unlikely that he will be fazed entering a venue that the people of Newark will pack to the rafters in support of their local hero but only time will tell.
Supporting Chad on what will be a great night for Midlands Boxing will be Beeston’s Joe Hughes competing in his first six rounder, Jack Hutsby (Heanor), Kyle Hughes (Ilkeston), Jordan Ringham (Bulwell), debutant Conner Short, unbeaten Ryan “The Punisher” Amos (Nottingham), Josh Gooding (Nottingham) was so impressive when making his debut on the last Harvey Hadden event, Sinfin’s Sajid Abid and not forgetting Regis Sugden, young brother of Chad who although in the early stages of his professional boxing career has already found himself as the headline act on a show.
Tickets priced at £60 (VIP with table service) & £40 (Standard) are available by calling the Hotline on 07876 641055 or by contacting any of the Boxers.
Scott Calow & Joe Elfidh would like to express their gratitude to the local businesses that are supporting this promotion and hopes the relationships that have been forged will continue as they strive to put Nottingham boxing at the forefront of boxing in the United Kingdom.
