A week tomorrow the picturesque market town of Newark will become a virtual ghost town as hordes of local folk make the short journey to the Harvey Hadden Sports Village, Nottingham to cheer on boxing heroes Chad & Regis Sugden.
Chad & Regis trained by their charismatic father Dean at Newark Martial Arts Centre will be showcasing their skills on a Boxing Connected promotion with Chad looking to build on his impressive victory last time out against quality operator and former Commonwealth Champion Luke Blackledge and Regis taking part in his third bout following points victories against Steven Backhouse and MJ Hall.
Chad in beating Luke Blacklege sent out a big message to all those in the Light Heavyweight division division that he is hot on their heels and will be looking to make a further statement when takes on the very experienced southpaw and former African Champion Farouk Daku in an 8 round International contest.
Regis is set to take part in his second 6 rounder this time against the tough as teak Luke Middleton of Langold and it would be a real feather in the cap of Regis if he was the first to halt Middleton.

Boxing Connected is pleased to be once again featuring the Fighting Sugdens on their shows and look forward to the continuation of the excellent working relationship that exists with Dean and his warriors of the Ring.
