On Saturday 7th September 2019 in the iconic surroundings of the York Hall, Bethnal Green a young man by the name of Jack Budge makes his first challenge for professional honours when he contests the vacant BBBofC Southern Area Featherweight Championship against the unbeaten Ramez Mahmood (9-0).

Following a stellar amateur career in which he was a ABA Senior Elite Champion in 2012 Jack is currently unbeaten in four professional outings with his career being mapped out by trainer Kerry Evans and manager Joe Elfidh.

Jack is under no illusion at the task in hand against highly thought of Mahmood and has been hitting the gym like never before as winning the Southern Area Featherweight Championship would be a prestigious achievement and would be a “door opener” for future opportunities.

Boxing Connected would like to wish Jack all the best for this coming Saturday’s contest with Jack personally wishing to thank his partner Hannah Edwards and his family, friends and sponsors for all the support they provide.
