Dwaine Bailey joins the Boxing Connected team

Boxing Connected are pleased to announce that Dwaine Bailey of Top Valley, Nottingham has signed on the dotted line with Nottingham professional boxing impressario Scott Calow.
As an amateur Dwaine (28) boxed for Jawaid Khaliq Boxing Academy where he compiled a record of 16 wins and 6 losses winning the East Midlands Region Light Welterweight Championship and defending the crown on three occasions thus winning the belt outright and in 2017 he was nominated in the Boxer of the Year category for the East Midlands Region.
Fidel Castro Smith possibly better known in boxing circles as Slugger O’Toole will be training Dwaine whose ambition is to be a British Champion and who better to look up to than Fidel who was British Super Middleweight Champion from 1991-1992.
Away from the ring Dwaine who works in a call centre has a passion for travel and would welcome enquiries from local businesses who would like to support him as he embarks on his journey into the professional ranks.
