Some people might think that at the age of 36 a professional boxer would be looking to hang up his gloves but this is certainly not the case with Grant ” Go Getter” Dennis from Chatham.
Grant a former Southern Area Champion, English title challenger and Ultimate Boxxer III finalist is adamant that he has plenty left in the tank and is straining at the leash for boxing to resume in order for him to chase the honours that he firmly believes he can capture.
He stated that winning the Southern Area Championship meant a lot to him and acknowledges that Nick Jenman was a very tough opponent however further admitted that everyone who faces you across the Ring has qualities but feels like a lot of Boxers that your hardest opponent is actually yourself and that his strong work ethic, speed and ring intelligence has proved invaluable when he has found himself in the trenches.
Grant who trains at the Gillingham Golden Gloves under the watchful eye of Veron Quammie, Pat Hawley & Slick Evans has been able to continue with his training to a certain extent during this lockdown period as he has his own fitness equipment and would like to remind people to comply with the social distancing guidelines and to only leave the house if its absolute essential for you to do so.
