Professional Boxing Returns to Dunstable

Write up by Richard Vaughan

Tomorrow evening professional boxing returns to the Bedfordshire town of Dunstable following a break of 23 years when Joe Elfidh for Boxing Connected along with high rize events stages what will hopefully be the first of many shows at the stunning Dunstable Conference Centre.
The towns of Dunstable and nearby Luton have in recent years been rather a backwater for the sport of professional boxing however through the industrious work of Alan Baptiste, Matty Earles & Paul Webb at Hockwell Ring ABC talent has emerged that is now ready to be unleashed on the professional ranks. One of the standout talents that has emerged from Hockwell Ring is the current English Super Lightweight Champion Kay Prospere who will be in attendance to cheer on his former club mates and who will happily pose for photographs and sign autographs for people.
The full bill can now be confirmed as follows :
6×3 Chris Davies v Andy Bishop4x3 Josh Gooding v Victor Edagha4x3 Ali Malik v Jordan Grannum4x3 Richard Harrison v Ryan Hibbert
There will be a small number of tickets available on the door so if you haven’t purchased yours yet please ensure that you arrive at the Conference Centre in good time otherwise you may be disappointed.
Promoter Joe Elfidh is fully committed to the task of reviving professional boxing in Dunstable & Luton and would like to express his personal thanks to all those companies who have agreed to sponsor the event and to the fight fans of Bedfordshire and further afield who will be in attendance.
