The chief support on Acid Test Sugden vs Daku fightcard brings together Kyle Hughes from Ilkeston, unbeaten in his two previous professional outings and Chatham hardman Danny Shannon.

Hughes nicknamed Kanelo will be returning to the scene of his two previous victories and stated when turning professional that he wanted to be tested in every fight and standing in front of him on 12th October will be a man known as the Real Deal who has no intention of taking a road trip of nearly 400 miles round trip to simply make the numbers up and has promised that he will make Kyle work harder than he has ever had to do so previously.

Some less knowledgeable people may look at the record of Danny Shannon (5-7-1) and think that Kyle is in for a relatively easy night but closer inspection of his record reveals that the quality of opposition that Danny has faced such as Danny Dignum, Jimmy Kilrain Kelly and James Metcalf will have undoubtedly provided Danny with experience that Kyle has yet to gain.

Kyle has stated that he owes a big debt of thanks to his trainer Steve Seery and his manager Nottingham boxing impresario Scott Calow for this opportunity and boxing fans if you want to see a real fight get along to the Harvey Hadden Sports Village on Saturday 12th October 2019.
