It has not gone unnoticed that at the gym that Steve Seery shares with Bilborough Community Amateur Boxing Club at the Harvey Hadden Sports Village in Nottingham that he has slowly but surely built a stable of professional Boxers that in the months ahead will be showcasing their skills.
In recent years it has not been an easy ride for Steve who has had to move from one location to another due to a combination of issues that were beyond his control however he has not moaned about the bad luck that has beset him and now founds himself in a position where his patience and perseverance is set to be rewarded with three of his charges scheduled to appear at the North Notts Arena, Worksop on Saturday 23rd November 2019 on a Joe Elfidh & Scott Calow promotion for the rapidly expanding Boxing Connected brand.
Sam Spooner (Bulwell) will be climbing through the ropes for the first time as a professional, with Jordan Ringham also from Bulwell looking to extend his unbeaten start to the professional ranks following points victories over Lewis Van Poetsch & Darryl Sharp. Jack Hutsby (Heanor) will be looking to chalk up another victory on his ledger with his aim to be boxing more frequently in his quest to force his way into contention for a shot at the Midlands Area Super Middleweight Championship.
All three of Steve’s charges are managed by Nottingham boxing impresario Scott Calow who in the months ahead has plans to add to his stable of Boxers and along with Joe Elfidh has stated that they are more than happy to work with any Managers that need to get their respective Boxers featured on promotions.
